Canon information

Character name and canon: Odysseus from Homer and stuff
Character background: Greek hero, descendent of Zeus and Hermes and king of Ithaca, cunning tricksy warrior who helped win the Trojan war, tried to return home heaped in glory and ended up wandering the seas for a decade instead having mostly unwelcome adventures, messing around with witches, and getting a bunch of his friends killed. I think I will take him from during his journey before he makes it back to Penelope.

Voidville information

Character's Voidville name: Damon Rhodes
Voidville background: Damon Rhodes is the new mayor of Voidville, or 'new' since Nyla's husband sadly passed on. He's a businessman though his business has always been a bit vague. Shipping of some sort? He's a born politician, wealthy and charming and well-spoken, always says the right thing except when he doesn't. Friendly and out-going, likes to play a sort of man of the people role and more often than not pulls it off despite being obviously upper-classish. Said to be ingenious behind that pretty smile, though the less kind would say he's a schemer. People who get on his bad side tend to find their lives mysteriously taking a turn for the worse. Mid-late 30s, divorced, with a rumor of a tragically dead fiance before that, has a sort of world-weary air about the edges that makes his easy good humor seem especially endearing. (Or that's the idea, anyway.) Dabbles in woodworking. Keeps horses. Likes the ladies. Gingery.
